WIRELESS INFRASTRUCTURE
TECHNOLOGY & MARKETS
THE CHALLANGE
OF 3G
Report
No: 2203
In
the current high-tech climate, wireless is one of the few markets
exhibiting positive growth. Already, many countries have more wireless
subscribers than landline ones, and the trend is unabated. We are
offering this new report as the definitive in-depth study of the market
and technology of the worldwide cellular infrastructure.
While
the subscriber side of the wireless equation draws the most public
attention the cellphones involved cannot work without the base stations
and mobile switching centers that support the network. We believe
that this 450-page report is the most significant study of the cellular
infrastructure market available today. The report updates and expands
on our earlier 270-page infrastructure report by providing significant
cellphone market information and more extensive and up-to-date company
profiles. And that is in addition to our extensive forecasts by air
interface within each geographic area.
This
report also provides rigorous original analyses of cellular traffic
and base station coverage not found in any other published reports,
providing you with calibration not elsewhere available. This report
is intended for serious strategic technical and market planners and
is profusely illustrated, with numerous original presentations. This
report will become a valuable tool as you help chart your company’s
future products and services. The extensive table of contents provided
here presents the details, but we summarize the high points below:
